|Belgrade Centre for Human Rights at CZKD
After a successful realisation of the three year project Monitoring of the state bodes and media in the field of war crimes, organised crime, violence in family and discrimination, the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights, with support of The Balkan Trust – The Project of the German Marshall Fund initiated a project of education young journalists and students of journalism and other university.
This project envisages work with 20 students, divided into teams, production of newspaper articles, radio and TV reports (four TV and radio reports until the end of June 2011) that will be published in cooperation with media partners. The project is divided into four phases and each will be dedicated to one of the chosen topics: organised crime, war crimes, discrimination and violence in family. At the beginning of each phase, the participants will have an opportunity to attend lectures and workshops and then work in groups on production of media reports. Minimum of 16 chosen media reports will be published in cooperation with the project's media partners.
This project's goals are advancing the investigative journalism, education of future journalists about these fields, raising public awareness and advocating respect of human rights and development of the rule of law.
